Der bambusverstärkte Kern des Westmark fördert die Power, Dynamik und Stabilität des Boards. Bambus hat mit die höchste Spannungs- und Druckfestigkeit, hat sehr geringes Gewicht und ist sehr flexibel und gilt als eines der strapazierfähigsten Materialien der Erde. Es ist 40mal langlebiger als Karbon und bietet 60% mehr Rückstellkraft als traditionelle Kernmaterialien. Das Westmark besitzt darüber hinaus einen Kern aus Pappel Holz, das sehr leicht und gleichzeitig sehr strapazierfähig ist. Erreicht wird somit eine Gewichtsoptimierung bei gleich bleibender Haltbarkeit.

The Westmark is built around a bamboo-reinforced core that radically increases power and durability.  Bamboo is one of the strongest materials on the planet.  It has a higher tensile strength than steel, yet it is light, flexible, and resists compression.  Bamboo has 40 times the effective life of carbon fiber and provides 60% more return than traditional core materials.
